OnPassive staff in India strike after 6 months no pay

Following non-payment of salaries for six months, 200 OnPassive staff in India have gone on strike.

Sakshi experiences that the OnPassive strike is accompanied by a report filed a Madhapur police station in Hyderabad.

Talking with Sakshi, OnPassive staff claimed they have been “going through severe difficulties because of salaries.”

Administration of the corporate is delaying the fee of salaries by saying in the present day is tomorrow.

Onpassive’s staff have vowed to proceed the strike till they’re paid.

The strike coincides with the collapse of OnPassive’s web site and companies earlier this month.

As a substitute of simply being sincere about their staff happening strike, OnPassive framed the collapse as “improving our service”.

The SEC sued OnPassive, proprietor Ash Mufareh and his spouse in August 2023. The SEC is alleging $108 million in fraud, most of which Mufareh is believed to have pocketed.

Mufareh, a resident of Florida, hasn’t publicly addressed the OnPassive strike or why he stopped paying staff six months in the past.

Presently OnPassive, Mufareh and the SEC are engaged in settlement discussions. Failing a decision, which is able to probably see Mufareh hit with disgorgement and a hefty civil penalty, a trial has been scheduled for June 2nd, 2025.
