Sentencing of three BitClub Community scammers have been continued to February 2025.
- Jobadiah “Joby” Weeks sentencing is scheduled for February sixth, 2025
- Joseph “Joe” Abel’s sentencing is scheduled for February 4th, 2025
- Silviu Balaci’s sentencing is schedule for February twentieth, 2025
BitClub Community sentences have been frequently delayed since 2021.
After rejecting a plea deal in 2020, Matt Goettsche has been out on launch pending trial. Russ Medlin was arrested on baby intercourse fees in Indonesia in 2020. Since his arrest Medlin’s standing hasn’t been made public.
Gordon Beckstead pled responsible to conspiracy to commit cash laundering in 2022. Beckstead has but to be sentenced and there’s no scheduled sentencing date.
In associated information, Joby Weeks (proper) has a bail violation listening to on January sixth. The DOJ first requested Weeks bail be revoked in 2021.
In March 2024, Week’s Pretrial Companies Officer downgraded his launch circumstances to house incarceration. In response the courtroom modified Week’s launch circumstances to be “extra restrictive” in April 2024.
