AutoTrade Gold’s Wahyu Kenzo sentenced to 10 years in jail


AutoTrade Gold founder Wahyu Kenzo (aka Dinar Wahyu Saptian Dyfrig), has been sentenced to 10 years in jail.

Kenzo was additionally fined Rp. 10 billion (~640,000 USD).

Kenzo and two accomplices have been arrested in early 2023. Indonesian authorities charged the scammers over operation of AutoTrade Gold, an alleged was a $582 million Ponzi scheme.

As reported by VOI, Kenzo (proper), Bayu Mahardika (aka Bayu Walker) and Raymond Enovan have been charged with violating

Article 106 of Regulation Quantity 7 of 2014 regarding Commerce at the side of Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Prison Code and Article 5 paragraph 1 at the side of Article 10 of Regulation Quantity 8 of 2010 regarding Prevention and Eradication of Cash Laundering.

Bayu Walker was sentenced to eight years in jail and a Rp. 6 billion wonderful (~$384,000 USD).

Raymond Enovan was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months, in addition to a RP 1 billion wonderful (~$64.000 USD).

Kenzo was dealing with a most 46 years sentence however Yuniarti S. Yudha, Head of the Malang Public Prosecutor’s Group, acknowledged his sentence was “in accordance with our calls for.”
