EXW’s Benjamin Herzog sentenced to five years jail

EXW Ponzi founder Benjamin Herzog has been sentenced to 5 years in jail.

Herzog and 9 EXW Ponzi co-defendants had been sentenced on Wednesday by Klagenfurt Regional Courtroom.

As reported by DiePresse;

The 2 major defendants had been sentenced to 5 years in jail. They’re stated to have defrauded 40,000 victims of a minimum of 20 million euros.

I consider the opposite “major defendant” refers to Pirmin Troger. Troger and Herzog had been discovered responsible of “critical industrial or critical fraud and prison affiliation”.

EXW Pockets’s third co-founder, Manuel Batista, stays a fugitive hiding in Dubai.

Of the remaining eight defendants;

Two others [received] 30 months suspended, one 18 months suspended. 5 defendants had been acquitted.

No phrase on financial penalties and/or sufferer restitution.

EXW Pockets was an MLM crypto Ponzi launched in 2019. At time of sentencing the tens of tens of millions stolen by means of the rip-off stay unaccounted for.
