OneCoin’s Irina Dilkinska pleads responsible to prison expenses


OneCoin government Irina Dilkinska has pled responsible to wire fraud and cash laundering.

Following an authentic not responsible plea, entered after her extradition from Bulgaria in March 2023, Dilkinska pled responsible to expenses in a November ninth superseding indictment.

Dilkinska’s superseding indictment particulars two counts of fraud; conspiracy to commit wire fraud and conspiracy to commit cash laundering.

Dilkinska aided within the operation of a global fraud scheme involving the sale of a purported cryptocurrency generally known as “OneCoin” – by, amongst different issues, managing the scheme’s proceedings and evading legislation enforcement investigating the scheme.

From a minimum of 2015 till a minimum of in or about 2018, Irina Dilkinska … operated as OneCoin’s Head of Authorized and Compliance and helped run its day-to-day operations.

Dilkinska (proper) successfully oversaw OneCoin’s cash laundering operations from Bulgaria.

One instance cited in Dilkinska’s indictment particulars a 2016 switch of $111 million “to a Cayman Islands entity … for the aim of concealing the origin of these funds”.

A few of Dilkinska’s involvement in OneCoin was detailed in transcripts from co-conspirator Mark Scott’s trial.

Along with jail time, Dilkinska’s sentencing may also consider forfeiture allegations detailed within the indictment.

Dilkinska, 42, is scheduled to be sentenced on February 14th, 2024. She faces a most ten years in jail.
